Those were the ones that convinced me too. I bought mine this season and is easy enough to put on and doesn't seem to be an issue on track. The sliding tether was a good mod to the original. tom

This weekend we had our charity NON timed auto slalom, no helmets etc. required. We take the public for runs around a parking lot course. What frightened me was watching video of passengers heads flopping from side to side especially through the actual slalom part. I noticed probably because I know whats coming my head stays relatively still whereas those of my passengers flop from side to side coming dangerously close to mine. It's that intimate Seven seating:)
