Cranky
http://www.chariotsofpb.com/Inventory/InventoryDetails/tabid/2245/company/CHARIOTS/vin/SDKLDK3NS11070411/Default.aspx The ad lists this car as a "5-SPEED MANUAL!" (not sure why that gets an exclamation point - must mean that it was written by either a female or a used car salesman). This picture sure looks like a six speed: http://cthst.com/chariotsofpb/11070411-22sm.jpg Am I missing something or is the ad copy wrong?
ihckb2
Some people just put knobs on to make it look cool, ...hey look a 6 speed.
Croc
Chariots of Palm Beach is a Morgan and Rolls Royce dealership primarily. They would not know how to count that high with gears! :jester: Seriously, I have found them very good to deal with and would happily deal with them again. I have had reason to use them 5 times in the past. My old yellow SV was found at CofPB after it had sat there for 12 months. I found them very willing to move down a long way on price in negotiation when a car has been in stock for a while. This R300 has been there at least 8 months so it may be an opportunity to serious haggle.
randychase
Some people just put knobs on to make it look cool, ...hey look a 6 speed. Or.....The kits we built all included a single knob from Caterham exactly like that. I installed a 5 speed. If I truly cared... I could have bought a new knob. I did not care. JBH
This is a nice build - very tidy - I like it. I'm guessing Caterham USA put this together, so maybe it is a six speed after all. I thought the R300 had a 6 speed as standard equipment.
