  1. Great tour of the updates. Can't wait to hear how it drives.
  2. My 2021 mid-engined C8 Corvette w/ Z51 option. A very different way to achieve much of what my CSR can do. Biggest downside: now harder to convince wife to go for drives in our Caterham.
  3. Checking with the company that currently insures your home, cars, and whatever other policies you have is a good start. They may be willing to work with you based on your history and the desire to not risk losing you as a customer.
  4. Congratulations, I look forward to seeing you on the road when the sun comes out.
  5. Can't wait to see it on the local roads.
  6. Well, since it resembles a massive Gatorade spill, something related to that would be appropriate.
  7. I spent the majority of my career in the Special Investigative Unit (mainly fraud and arson cases) with a large personal lines insurance company. Decent pay, benefits and hours. Very interesting work that I truly enjoyed. For extra variety I did more than the basics, such as getting involved in professional organizations and becoming a guest instructor at the state Law Enforcement Academy. For me, adding to what I did was better than changing what I did. Also had enough fun things away from work to keep me happy.
  8. Not mine (different roll bar and wrong#), but definitely a Washington Collector Vehicle plate. I don't recall seeing it around here. @BruceBe, familiar to you?
  9. Whichever one you decide on, I highly recommend ditching the 40lb ramps that come with your lift and getting the 7lb Race Ramps Race Ramps
  10. Mine was also tight, especially height. Rerouting the garage door rails made it all work.
  11. I've had a Revolution (home version of Rotary) four post for five years. Been very pleased with it.
  12. Paint is relatively cheap, while the clear coat needed to protect carbon fibre from UV caused damage is obscenely expensive. For example the standard removable roof on the C8 Corvette is CF painted body color. To have it exposed is a $2500 option. Similar story for the mirrors. CF Clear Coat Cost
  13. I totally understand. Bruce still gets excited thinking about the 3rd brake light he designed for me almost 10 years ago. In fairness, it is very nice.
  14. For the record, regardless of what you look at, just going to car shows makes you less of a weirdo. Slightly.
