  1. It seems the engine is a modified Duratec: https://www.totalkitcar.com/2025/09/18/new-engine-range-from-prodev-engineering/
  2. I have a Fidanza flywheel in my Zetec and I had to get it balanced because of the heavy vibrations. My recommendation after 20 years Seven ownership: When using „performance“ parts the chances are great to get overprized crap, and that even happens when dealing with a company with a good reputation. So always check and measure the stuff you get, do NOT assume it is „ok“!
  3. Thanks for the offer, but I already tried this. To have it under the tonneau changes the situation completely. I guess the distance and viewing angle also has a great influence. Next step will be to try different mounting positions.
  4. I have this gauge in my Birkin and it is really nice - except that you can hardly read it in daylight, not even with a gauge visor.
  5. As far as I can remember this was not checked at all. But this was 20 years ago…
  6. When I had my new Superformance S1 inspected at the Ohio DMV in 2004 they only inspected the receipts and attached the assigned chassis number plates to the car. It was no problem at all, I even drove to and from the DMV with the car.
  7. Papak were you able to find out from which car these CV joints came from?

  11. I run a JMT HJT12 with a high compression Zetec for 3 years now. No problems so far.
  12. My electrical valve for the Accusump is simply wired parallel to the fuel pump and so stays always open while engine is running. In case it is half discharged the oil dip stick shows „full“.
  13. The oil cooler is the same as used on the Superformance S1 (10 row). It is mounted several inches behind the radiator but gets fresh air from an air scoop underneath the nose. My higher oil pressure may has to do with not having piston oil squirters in my engine block. My oil pressure switch is set to 30psi and only comes on when the gauge is below that - so the gauge seems to be accurate. What about yours?
  14. I run 5W40 full synthetic oil in my 190hp Zetec. Oil temps stay with oil cooler below 250F with oil pressure at higher rpm at 80psi. Also using Accusump so trackdays are no problems.
  15. A little more expensive , but probably much fun : https://westermann-motorsport.com/en/produkte/wesmo-cosworth-duratec-24
  16. I thought that GL-4 has to be used in the T9. GL-5 will eat up the syncros...
  17. Are you sure the axle seals are leaking? I had a leaking axle seal and the oil was thrown away by the rotating axle towards gas tank, trunk and so on.
  18. You can get a similar package from Westfield: https://westfield-sportscars.co.uk/showroom-brochures/westfield-sport-250/
  19. Superformance S1? "The S-1 was specifically conceived to accommodate “6-foot 4-inch, 250-pound Americans""
  20. Webcon doesn't support the ECU any longer and NEVER sold the software and programming hardware to individuals. They now have the Alpha Pro 5 ECU, which is pin compatible to the old one and comes with software. I bought a used one 2 years ago for my Zetec with ITBs. It's expensive, has only few features and the hardware/software is poorly documented. Service via phone was ok and the hardware itself looks ok, but still: It seems Webcon doesn't want the end user to change anything on his own. I gave up on it and looked for a REAL alternative. I now have a Link G4+ Storm ECU waiting to replace the old Webcon, hopefully I have more luck with this one.
  21. You could measure the rotors and download the "Wear Parts" catalog ( http://www.ate.de/kataloge/print-kataloge/ ). Starting at page 1577 there is a complete list of all rotors and the part numbers. As far as I know the rear discs (240mm diameter) came from a Ford Sapphire and where re-drilled for 4x114.3 . Front discs are Toyota Cressida.
  22. Crankcase breather (on right side of block) sucking oil ? ferdl
  23. Is a windshield necessary at all? No windshield - a lot less problems...
  24. Webcon (the ECU manufacturer) does not support this ECU anymore and there is no software available for the end user. The ECU is well built and reliable but not made for DIY.
