If you can get a rebuild kit; try White Post restorations. They can re sleeve anything and do a great job Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bruce. I have an older supersprint 1700 and may need some of your spares. Could you give me contact info. We need to talk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Scannon, I really like the idea of adapters. Would you have a drawing that I could take to a machine shop? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Well, I picked up my new "to me". 1989 Caterham at the port of Charleston last Friday. So far! I am very pleased with the entire transaction. The car was as advertised and better. The whole importation process was very easy. Cost was about $800 more than I expected but having a brokerage agent at the port was worth it. I put approx 150 miles on the car. It is still dirty from it's voyage but damn it is fun. If Coffee break is watching let know. I would like you to see it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Yes it is roll on roll off. The seller negotiated shipping. I worked with a customs agent here. I can give you contacts. Let's see how smoothly it really goes Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sorry for the delay in responding. I am picking the car up on Friday. Cost so far is approx 1,000.00. I still have to pay 2.5% import duty plus fees and such. I'll give you a grand total after I get it on the trailer. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It is an 89 Caterham super lite, long cockpit, Ford Sierra cross flow, Sierra 5 speed, DeDion rear. Loads on the ship this Thursday. Arrival date is the 25th. I'll let you know when it gets home Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Trykeman here. Since my question I have purchased a 1989 Caterham in England. It loads on the ship on October 8. So far. So good. As this progresses I will post any problems Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Thanks for the info. I believe I have a bit of due diligence to due. From what I gather, it does look like a stock 25 yr old Super 7 could make it through the hoops. Have not found anything yet Thanks

As I am new to this site and without a 7. I am wondering if anyone has attempted to import one from the UK? Are there any glaring pitfalls? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
