  1. I drive Autobahn Country Club often because I live nearby ... But I can't wait to take a trip to Road America with the Seven. Do you live in IL or have you driven the ABCC on visit?
  2. Thanks for the tips everyone ... I do not have the 4 Pot calipers ... But I have already flushed brakes with high temp brake fluid
  3. This is a little ridiculous ... But a friend recorded some laps with a camcorder ... The sound is MUCH better than the GoPro but the video is very shaky ...
  4. The brakes on my SV (built in 2002) have no identifying marks whatsoever, how can I determine what type of brake pads to replace with? Also, can anyone recommend pads for primarily track use?
  5. Lol ... You and me both sir
  6. Really wanted to get my hands on that Diahatsu pick-up!
  7. Thanks! We should get a little cruise together! I'm a member of Autobahn Country Club in Joliet until the end of July if you're free to get some track time in?
  8. Much practice needed ... Hope you all enjoy
  9. Some pictures and other video clips to follow
  10. This was the South track at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL. Best lap of the 2.06 mile track was 1:52 ... Went in hoping for under 1:50 but had passengers in every session. I apologise for the wind noise ... I showed up unprepared to run my remote mic securely so I went with GoPro sound (yuck)
  11. Thanks for the info ... Hopefully I'll have some not-too-embarassing video soon!
  12. Avon ZZS, I think they are 185 front/205 rear ... I bought my Seven from it's 2nd owner recently and I have no idea if lugs are stock
  13. So tomorrow is the first day I will be driving the Seven on a track in anger! Have a gopro set up with remote mic that will hopefully provide decent enough sound to not be annoying. I had a couple questions about tires/wheels. What torque should I put on the lugnuts for the wheels? I like to check these before every session and want to make sure I don't over/under torque them. Also, I have Avon tires on 13" Apollo wheels, what would be a good target HOT tire pressure? What is a good cold starting point to achieve this hot pressure? I am thinking target 18psi hot and starting at 14-15psi and bleed off after every session as needed to keep 18psi? Thanks
  14. Thanks, this was very helpful!
  15. The current wings are in bad shape ... They are bolted on and the holes are starting to spiderweb crack ... I don't want to drill the carbon fiber wings
  16. I have some Carbon fiber front wings that came with my Caterham ... Has anyone mounted these? What is the best way to attach them? What adhesive, how to best match the position before mounting, how to mount turn signals on Carbon Fiber? Basically just looking for best practices and adhesive recommendation ... Don't want to screw up these wings trying to install them. Thanks

  18. Thank you so much for the pictures! The only thing I would want to change on mine are the clamps ... I would be afraid they would wear holes in the top when it's on. (I do actually use my top occasionally) Perhaps the could be rotated so that they are flush on top? I love the idea of the switch tho, that's a great idea! I can see times where I might want to turn it off. Thanks for the great info and pics!
  19. Has the zip tie solution worked ok? No damage caused by the zip ties?
  20. Thanks for the pics Alfonse.
  21. That is how mine looks as well ... No bottom fasteners ... When you have yours mounted and fastened, does it have play in it? Does it wiggle around? Seems like this would cause wear and tear ... I'm going to look into a better way of securing it
  22. That would be a huge help ... Thank you ... Mine definitely does not have any bottom mounts ... Will want to add them
