So I noticed that the nose cone on my car is a little loose, and upon further inspection, it is only held on the car with two twist lock fasteners at the top rear of nose cone ... The hood sits on top of it so it doesn't move alot during driving. Is this normal? Should there be some fastener at the bottom/front of the nose cone? Anyone have detailed pictures of how there nose is fastened?

Would love to see some pictures of what you did ... I am going to install a 3rd brake light also but undecided how I want to do it.

Mike, Thanks for those videos ... It is entertaining to watch ... I will make sure that the wifey videos me trying it ... I'll post it for other people's amusement. As for the other recommendations ... A half top is something I definitely want to get, do you know of any brands that make a quality zipper half top?

So I just put the weather top on my car for the first time ... I don't know how it's possible to get into or out of the car with this on! I'm 6ft 1in and 275lbs Any tips for a fat guy? ;-)

Took the Cat to our local track (Autobahn Country Club) to give it a good shakedown. Car performed great, a few minor service issues and an occasional "clunk" in the diff were the only things I could tell needed attention. Some beautiful cars were out, including multiple McLarens, an Aston Martin Zagato, and a DB3 Here are some pics:

I've been using Harry's and syncing it with video from my GoPro 4 ... The syncing isn't perfect and I have found that the data acquisition from the Bluetooth OBDII dongle I was using wasn't consistent ... Wanted something that could show throttle and brake position, not just speed ... Was thinking Aim or Vbox

Videos are my specialty ... Trying to figure out how to get telemetry that I can overlay ... In the meantime, what is the hose coming off the valve cover and routed to a resevoir down below? Should the reservoir have a cap?

I just purchased my first Caterham two days ago and had several questions. It is a 2001 SV with Zetec. 1) I plan on using this car on track a few days soon ... Are there any inspections I should do on a Cat above and beyond the normal tire checks and brake pad wear checks? 2) The brakes feel a little anemic compared to what I was expecting ... Very low initial bite ... Is this a normal feeling for a Cat? Lots of pad left and I plan on doing a brake fluid flush just for my own sanity before hitting the track ... Any other things I should look at brake wise? 3) I would like to change all lights on this car to LED ... Headlights, tail lights, turn signals ... Is there a good source for info on how to do this properly? Sorry for all the questions ... Thanks in advance for any/all help!

Finally found the right Caterham to pull the trigger on. Can't wait to get it out for a cruise ... Excuse me, a "blat"

Ended up renting an enclosed trailer locally and just plan on towing the car back myself.

Purchase isn't done yet, hoping to buy Ben's SV if I fit in it. The wife shot down the cross country drive, so I am still looking for a transport company.

We have decided to just take an INSANE risky adventure and if I buy it, drive it the 20 hour drive from Florida to Illinois broken into a two day trip.
