If you notice I've been quiet on the forum the past few weeks, it's not because I am in between cars — I was on vacation. Visiting Glacier National Park and Yellowstone.
And, fellow Se7ener, Dave Kirk.
When I found out that Dave was a custom bike (high-end road bicycles) builder, I immediately thought of my father-in-law (whom many of you may have met at 7-7-7), an avid cyclist who has about as much in his titanium Merlin road bike as some people have in their Locost homebuilts.
Dave seemed open to having visitors — so we dropped in on him between national parks. He even took my F-I-L out for a bike ride on Montana roads, something he's always wanted to do.
A big, public thanks to Dave for hosting a fellow Sevener and his family. Here's a pic of Dave and my in-laws (he's very tall, BTW, so people with "will I fit" questions should direct those his way).
