  1. Girlfriend or not, she'd have a higher chance of living after I got home if she didn't include a pic... I'm just sayin'
  2. I'll check it out tonight. What's the article about?
  3. Sounds like this "airport" was just a community runway. I do have to tell you that if I had access to a private air field, I'd have the top speed of both of my toys documented
  4. There you go again... wishing for more business

  6. I guess you're gonna do some shopping now.
  7. and strong bones and joints...
  8. Agree with all of the above. I know I got lucky a few times in my earlier days, and that was with cars that barely made over 100 hp.
  9. 18 year old + 500 hp car... Bmw link http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=111454 Accident post http://www.ocala.com/article/20080126/BREAKING_NEWS/30775910/1368/googlesitemapnews Just yesterday my 8 year old was asking me if he can have the vette when he gets old enough :nonod:
  10. Dude is a legend with his own smilie... In car forums, that's like having your own Hollywood star
  11. I must hang out with some well behaved autocrossers. I've never seen a big burnout, donut, or anything like that at an autox.
  12. May 9th would have been great at Summit for me, but I'm not quite sure if my car will be in track condition, or even running condition at that time. So I'll have to wait and see.
  13.
  14. Andy, You are right about saving money for modding... it's the best part  There are 2 superformance owners here. Both seem happy. You should PM them.
  15. The option not mentioned is to build, for those of us without he re$ource$ to buy. This is a longer path though with planning you can get the equipment desired initialy. I should have traded my AC Bristol for the Lotus 11 years ago when I had a chance.
  16. :withstupid: er... i mean :iagree:
  17. that BMW guy is insane... lucky there was no wreck. If you check youtube for vette burnouts, there are alot of nice ones. This is one of my fav's, even though it's not the longest nor smokiest YouTube Video
  18. what would you do differently? your response will help some n00bs looking to get into their first. NOTE: this is just about the car (buy new/used, build, powertrain, etc...), not dealings with dealers/sellers, etc...
  19. I can only vote once (well, if I don't cheat )
  20. has to be Ford's "Formula One Frank" in the Fusion commercial.
  21. cause those mofo's won't remember jack
  22. You should be able to use the one Rob shows, with a relay to cut off the alternator, no?
  23. Yes it does, BUT, you need to make sure it is wired properly. I don't have one on my car yet, so this is not from first hand experience. In addition to connection the main battery wire, you need to make sure you also kill the alternator signal line. Otherwise, in an emergency, somebody will reach over and turn your kill switch, but the car will continue to run without the battery if the alternator is not killed.
  24. even BusaLoco wouldn't do this  reminds me of this:
