  2. I don't recall seeing any camping on-site. the actual site is a fairgrounds. But I'm sure there is camp sites nearby.
  3. I would happily give my car up for that. although i'll be driving it like a grandma.... afraid if I break something on that engine, i'll have to get a 2nd mortgage.
  4. 1st dibs in driving one his cars during the comparison. I'm not choosy
  5. It's heat treated
  6. just posted in the videos forum
  7. asking usa7s to point you in the right direction for a nice seven will get you this  http://www.gpsmagazine.com/assets/review-ln740/routing_engine.jpg Are you looking to build, buy used, or buy a fixer-upper? Buying used will get you the best value, but obviously you'll miss out on the joys of building your own. For a road going car, i'd stick with something with a non-forced induction 4 banger car engined seven, unless you're already used to FAST cars and want something more.
  8. well, looks to me the Giants did their part :bigears:
  9. Edit: Corrected smilie to "Needs more power"
  10. if it was a fuel on exhaust fire, it may be hard to save even with an extinguisher

  12. Who is up for a blat this morning? Current temp is -2 F Yesterday's low was -2 F, high of 5 F Bundle up.
  13. With those tires at parking lot speeds, I use the hand position that produces maximum torque to turn the wheel
  14. Bob is a man of many talents
  15. I think wheel size and overall width contribute to the overall look of my car, even though they're somewhat un-seven-like. Also, what the picture doesn't show is that my oil pan is 2.5" from the ground, which makes the profile of the car look unnaturally slim. I've fixed the oil pan clearance problem at the expense of the slim look. The Rotus nose does have kind of a unique look to it.
  16. congrats.
  17. what's the point in 2 bike engines driving the rear wheels? each is 180 lbs, right? then you need the reverse box, and double the engine mounts, etc... How much does all that weigh?
  18. I got the same message and chose not to upgrade.
  19. Weight distribution is very important, but let's not discount power to weight ratio as well as power to drag coef * frontal area.
  20. You mean for the roll bar? The rest of the frame is .065 I believe.
  21. http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f394/tedeburn/?action=view&current=dragoncostume-1.flv
  22. Mustangs? That's nothing compared to what Clarkson says everytime he sees a vette. Still like his show though.
  23. Now I'm afraid of clicking on it
