    Evening fun

When I went to snowshoe about 3 weeks ago, my friend brought some of his toys to try, since there is plenty of private property up there, shooting into a mountain side. He wanted to record a night-time shot. Here is a single frame of his shot: http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/127617371_SW500.jpg This is a S&W 500, with a 440 grain bullet. He said next time he'll bring some 700 grain bullets :willy:
  2. Silk, welcome aboard. Will you be at the Cobra gathering this Saturday?
  3. The rest of the watches arrived today. I will be packing the rest of the orders tonight and shipping tomorrow.
  4. Funny, I was just commenting to my nephew the other day about how surprised I was when I saw people forwarding the pictures to various manufacturers. Very enthusiastic indeed - and there is nothing wrong with that.

I'll be the first to admit the search functionality sucks here. Boxologist will be 2nd to admit  On the search page, make sure you hit the search button with the mouse, rather than hitting the enter key. I don't recall any real discussions on this topic. I don't have a standard se7en engine. In my case, I use Mobile 1 5W-30 for oil, and plain water with water wetter for coolant. Keeps my V8 nice and cool with the little radiator, even after extended rush hours in hot weather.
  6. Dino, don't consider this as being left out. It's natural for any owner to want to send this to the brand they own. I thought about sending it to Rotus... ah, nevermind I think there are a couple of things that need to be addressed... Box brings up a good point about the trunk. I wonder how the back looks. Also, without the trunk there is NO crush zone at all. The second issue which I raised earlier is the elbow area. Overall though, I think the design is pretty brilliant.
  7. :iagree: :blueangel:
  8. Do they hang out by the cars from 7:45 to 8:45? With the kids, I'd rather just do that part and be on my way. No need to ruin a perfectly good morning for a bunch of guys who managed to escape the family for the morning
  9. Al's Quattro was pretty fun on the dragon
  10. I used to own a shop many years ago. I would always be looking for a pen around the shop. One day I got fed up and went and spent $10 at Walmart and flooded the shop with pens... everytime I wanted one, I would just pick it from the new box. For the next couple of years, there was no need to look for a pen. The time savings over time more than paid for the cost of the pens.
  11. My wife is working, but I will try my best to get there with the minivan and kids in tow to watch.
  12. did Godzilla forget his shake in the background?
  13. This is an old thread from before last year's upgrades. I ended up with a Camaro rear, which has a Torsen unit in it.
  14. It's good to have LSD if you regularly overpower your rear wheels.
  15. Yup, thanks to Al's marketing machine

  18. slightly worse than my garage at times
  19. Well, just got back from spending 5 days at Snowshoe. Between running up and down the mountain, kids' ski lessons, playing poker, etc... hardly worked on the car at all. While I was there we removed both side skins, exhaust manifolds and motor mounts. The plan for motor mounts is in place, so it's on Arya's plate to do his magic. Looks like the new pedals will fit fine, and the header will work after some modifications.
  20.
  21. agree with Mr. "scannon" Torsen's need a small amount of torque to work, otherwise they act as an open diff, so lifting a driven wheel is a bad thing.

  23. Damn man. That sucks I agree with everything Kitcat says above. If you think the deal you have is really good, and there are no clauses in your contract to let the seller walk away, proceed with the legal... it's a 2 edged sword. If you show you're willing to make the cost high enough for him, he may reconsider. What are the requirements regarding where you file your claim?
  24. definitely was one of the best "car years" for me
