you know how i roll. i always wait it out. want to make sure my last minute fixes actually FIX things. worst case i will come and hope for rides or try to track my S4.
haha. thanks for asking Tom. Another fellow has some space so ill be staying with him. Im burning the midnight oil over at the shop trying to get her ready! One of the pushpins for my electric fan wore through a bar on my rad so im working to get the new one in as well as have a slight alignment change in caster and camber for the front. Looking to get more competitive this year in something more than gardening and coolant system issues.
Im looking to cut under hood temps. The current plan is to have a reverse scoop on both sides of the car with the main focus on drawing air out from around the header while the car is in motion. I like the superformance s1 side louvers but I cant seem to find them for sale anywhere. Has anyone seen anything similar? better yet if love something that mounts where you done see the rivets.

Congratulations, and welcome to the WCM club. If you send me your email ill send you the current "manual" for the car. It has some starting points for alignment in it.

trying to diag a "power failure once warm" issue. no one around me works on s2000 engines so i have to reach out a bit further. going to install a aftermarket computer and get it tuned at Evans Tuning on the 9th. hoping this will keep the car from dropping into "limp mode".
if it works ill be at njmp on the 11th running with some Porsche guys...
hopefully ill be back on the road as of saturday. if so ill be adding my name to those coming and hopefully NOT bringing any more "prestigious" awards home.
back on sale for $55 for those who missed out

i did a bit of reading and chose NOT to go with a lightened flywheel. engine spins fast enough for me. i did go with a competition stage 2 or 3 clutch disc and a nice lightly used pressure plate.
when mine failed it would spit the pass side axle out as soon as i would pull away. upon disassembly i found the fluid inside had turned to molasses. i have bought several rears, of various ratios, for as cheap as $50 off car-part.com and ebay.
just came across this thread. i had a very stiff pedal on my wcm and after a lot of bruhaha i figured out that the grease on the input shaft was dry and the t-bearing was actually BINDING. when i pulled the trans i saw scoring and replaced the parts and now my pedal is about 50% lighter.
never seen this guy before! figured id add to my 7s collection.
