  3. My guess is it is Permatex High-Temp Red RTV Silicone Gasket that came down from the valve cover. I have not had time to open up the valve cover to make sure. But I think this is what happened when one gets a little to heavy handed with the Silicone Gasket.
  4. Took the oil pan off last night. Look what I found: I think this is why the motor went Pop!

To the best of my knowledge remote starter are illegal on manual cars. My guess is the remote starter was self installed.

  9. Hi John, love the NSX. What have you "modified"? That is a nice looking 7 over in Japan, but for the selling price of ~26,000.00 US I think you can find a good one over here and not have to mess with importing it over here.
  10. Thanks your the advise.
  11. I love Great Danes, but this dog is lucky to be alive.
  12. Here is what it looks like:
  13. Hank, I would love to dry sump it, but that is a bit over my locost budget. The guys that race in the 750 Motor Club, RGB Class C (Carb'ed Fireblades) say you are good to go with just a plate and overfill the oil just a little bit. Also I do not have overall height of the engine problem.
  14. Found out last night the wife has know what is in the box in the basement. She just choose to ignore it. The motor is just a stock CBR 900 RR replacement for the motor that has a nice viewing window in the block. Next step is to take the up-rate clutch, adapter driveshaft thingy off the old and put on the new motor, and add my nice new baffle plate so this hopefully doesn’t happen again.
  15. A few night ago went out to the garage, and lifted the motor out all alone. That wasn't too bad and my back has yet to hurt. Now it is time to pull "that box" from base and start prepping it. I just need to bring "that box" up from basement when the wife is not around, she does not know I stored the replacement motor in the furnace room.
  16. That looks nice!
  17. No front sway bar? Sure has a lot of nice thing on it, minus the rear and graphics.
  18. Too Funny. Any updates on the 7?

  20. Way to true! This is very sad.
  21. Cody, you might want to check over at http://www.locostusa.com/forums/ I think some time ago someone did a home build around a S2000. Also please post pictures of your Factory Five.
  22. Welcome, My old baby before my purchased 7 was a 1991 Honda CRX with a B16 swap. Just because you buy it does not mean you can't improve/change it.
