Who owns who any more and .... it has been going on for years in F1 and the car industry in general, so right now it's Asia and India with the money. I think its great for Lotus to be back in any form, if it was not for Proton of Malaya, Lotus would be just a fond memory.

what Caterham?

appreciate it. The reason I bought up Bikin V Caterham is because they look so very similar (i.e. Lotus 7 series 3). Did Birkin do a deal with Caterham as I know they do not hesitate to sue if they feel anyone is too close to an original 7 (like Westfield some years ago) ?

Look like what you would see on a delivery van today. So was the Lotus in green and gold back then , I thought the Lotus cols were green and yellow? Some nice hoops and stripe combos all around I wonder when the cars stopped racing in national colours and were able to pick whatever they wanted, guess when the sponsors paid enough hey.

Much better and nowher near as boxy, always thought even the current Caterham lights look very cheap ( yeah I know they have been like that since 1734 but they are still fuglier than fug.
