Well there is a problem .. this new R&P has the pinion rolling above the rack .. which means that the pinion will be connecting to the U joint and steering rod at the height of the Rotus suspension rocker arms .. duh! Rob

Not necessary at all! I have no idea why they shortened the rack housing .. the rack itself is not shortened. Fits just fine. Rob

Last week we discovered that my Rack and Pinion was worn .. so I went to the Pullapart Junkyard yesterday and found one on a 1981 Starlet that will fit my car. Got it back to the shop .. took it apart and regreased it and it works perfectly! Sandblasting parts today in preparation for paint. Rob
