I rebuilt my standard 40 mm dual Mikuni Solex carbs two years ago for my Toyota 2TG Rotus engine .. super easy to rebuild .. and these carbs have a reputation to be super easy to syncronize and tune .. and stay in tune ..
.. but I'm talking about the Japanese flavors here ...

Got the MG (Lucas) two speed motor (with park) installed on a custom Aluminum shelf under the scuttle .. and got the mechanism tubes cut and installed .. all straight as an arrow .. should work great! I'm very happy about how this has turned out ..
Still have to wire in the intermittent wiper timer and momentary switch for one sweep!

I got a two speed Lucas (MG) wiper motor off ebay .. modified the '75 Toyota Wiper pull switch .. and tested using the wiring diagram below .. and I have a wiper that parks! I'm fabricating an aluminum shelf to support the motor under the dash .. so I should have some great functioning wipers soon! I also have an intermittent timing circuit to build so I can have delayed wipers too!

While I was at work .. my friend was busy replicating the original Rotus fuel tank in aluminum .. 13 gallons! Wow!
This evening I installed a new VDO fuel sender .. I had to angle it to fit inside the alum tank .. works great!

I have a bunch of these bulbs .. harvested from old VDO gauges and old '70s Toyota instrumentation .. I'll keep an eye out for more at the junkyard ...

Ditto! Hagerty also! My car is still up on four jackstands ..
State Farm covered me for the first six months of last year .. and it was my only coverage .. In January I switched to Hagerty ($230/year). I need to build a small garage at home to to continue coverage with them.
