  4. Do you use the handbrake when sitting at a stop light or stop sign? Wherever I go .. when I am stopped by a light .. I engage the handbrake and take all my feet off the pedals of my MT Celica .. Of course I make sure that the cars behind me are stopped or stopping before I do this. But I never see anyone else in manual transmission cars doing this .. Am I the only one? At stop lights my wife keeps one foot on the clutch and one foot on the brake at all times. :ack: Rob

  9. Does your car have welting between the fenders and the body? Is it really necessary?? I'm debating whether to buy and install welting cord. Original welting is dryrotted .. and Rotus assembly lists it as part of the install process. Rob

  14. Yeah I had noticed that the Porsche jack and the Mazda jack look alike ... Post a pic of it when you are done. I also have the lightweight Odyssey MJ680 battery in my car. And relatively light aluminum rims x 5. Rob

  16. One way that I have taken weight away from my car is replacing the heavy steel fuel tank with a custom aluminum one. About half the weight. Now I have purchased an aluminum scissors jack and handle. Much lighter than the steel Toyota jack that I had in the car. This one is for the 86-91 RX-7s. Of course my wife would suggest another way to lighten my car would be that I lose 30 pounds .... Other ideas to lighten the car?
