The age of the Constitution and technological changes to arms does does not matter at all. You clearly do not grasp the concepts involved in the founding and framing. Read some material from the Federalist Papers and similar material, specifically the framers discussing rights and tyranny. Throw in some reading on Paul Revere's warning about the British coming as well.

If there were armed guards or teachers/staff with concealed carry permits, lives could have been saved. If having gun free zones makes people so safe, then why do anti-gun people ever have armed security? Celebs, rich people, politicians complain about guns, want more gun-free zones or to ban guns completely, but still have armed guards. I guess Obama has asked the Secret Service to not carry guns around him so that he'll be safer... ha! If I remember correctly, Feinstein is submitting a bill to ban "assault" guns, but yet has a rare California permit to carry. Laws for thee, not for me applies I suppose, just like lefties and taxes.

Why stop there? Ban everything that can possibly cause harm. Then magically, no harm will come to anyone. :banghead: Read some history about the Constitution, Bill of Rights, founding, etc. Maybe you'll learn something. http://www.justfacts.com/guncontrol.asp http://gunowners.org/just-for-skeptics.htm

I believe I'm missing this meet. Last soccer day for the fall, plus weather issues left me some cleanup to do still. There's always next time.
-
Mid-Oct, right? Not too far off.
-
Since I am unable to join in the drive, sounds like nice weather for my wife's run and the Celtic Fest. Enjoy the ride, gentlemen. If anyone's headed to BCX.... My car is done, back in the garage, and I'll be at BCX in Oct just in time to join in the drive to Triumph if departure from Starbucks lags a bit. Otherwise, I'll catch up at Triumph.

My schedule for that weekend has been tossed out the window. Saturday in particular is gone. I may be able to do a drive Sunday if others are interested in that one (but I can't commit to anything), however it looks like I will most definitely miss out on Saturday. On a happier note, I should have my car back Wednesday. Paint is done, just needs to sit before they put the scratch guard plastic stuff on it. It may have to become my weekend grocery-getter just for the purpose of putting some miles on it. I'll turn a half-hour grocery trip into 2 hours with some creative road selections. :driving:

It would slide me into "quite possibly" for Saturday, simply depending on travel time and traffic.
-
I am penciling in the 30th, if anyone can do a drive that date. Otherwise, I'm time-limited on the 29th. Could leave Richboro area until 10:10 or so.
-
My son's fall soccer is now scheduled from 9-10am, so I'm outta luck for just about everything on saturdays, unless I have time to meet up afterwards.
-
I look forward to having you joins us at BCX with your car.
-
What's the current plan? I haven't heard anything about your car for a while. What are you putting in it?
-
I fear that may be into soccer season, so I'll leave it at "if I can make it"
-
I think that might work nicely.
-
Out of concern for your mileage and soot problem, I'll allow you to swap engines with me, as I have the Zetec.
-
Roman, (If your 7 is still down) As far as I know, my passenger seat is open, should you wish to join us. Weather looks pretty good. My wife's been sick, but has been feeling better so far today. I should still see you all there tomorrow around 8 or so.
-
I will likely be there around 12:15 or 12:30, depending on soccer and traffic.
-
The 9th I could give you a ride just for the lunch, but not the drive. The 16th you're welcome to ride along if your car is still not ready.

On June 16th, the Lotus guys from PALS are joining Bucks County Exotics for a meet at the regular BCE location, just south of Doylestown, PA by the Barn Theater on 611 (http://www.buckscountyexotics.com/when-n-where.html). 8-10am, then we're doing a covered bridge drive afterwards. All 7s are certainly welcome to come join in the fun. It would be nice if the 7s outnumbered the Ferraris. SteveS1 and have been the only people with 7s there I believe (Croc came without the 7, so he doesn't count... sorry ) We're touring Bucks County and ending at the Triumph Brewery in New Hope (pay parking). (If I have made any mistakes posting from memory, feel free to correct me) Timothy

I'm scheduled to be there from 8-9, then off to the soccer game. Mr. Crash is a nice guy, it's a shame he got careless with his right foot. Unless I'm all confused (hectic morning), on the 9th is a drive (I hope to get there around noon to at least lunch with everyone), then on the 16th, Bucks County Exotics is hosting PALS, and we're doing the covered bridge drive. I don't think I saw a post for this yet on USA7s. At the moment, the 16th is the only drive I can participate in, as soccer ends on the 9th. Hopefully we'll get some nice weather, before the hot and humid stuff comes back.

If it's the one they had on Top Gear, I wouldn't trade a 7 for one.... the Caterham was better. Though the Morgan did do the doughnut test just fine.
-
I am the opposite of Steve... I may be able to get there for lunch, but not for the drive, unfortunately. My 4 yr old's last soccer game is on the 9th, 10-11am. It's about an hour drive up there, if I leave from the field, so I'm looking at noon arrival approximately, as long as no surprises come up.

After our little get together, I headed out with the Italian stallions. The little 7 can keep up just fine, except when the roads weren't smooth and had concerns about the rear bouncing around. Live axle kept me a bit slower, but I caught back up, 'til the stop sign, where I got behind a few trucks and apparently didn't pick the right turn at the next light. Wish I had a real suspension. Oh well, fun anyway.

AeroKroil working on the valve now, battery's ready to go, just need to get the bug guts cleaned off of my fenders. Been a while since I drove it last, hope there's a group drive afterwards, otherwise maybe I'll go sightseeing somewhere.

The email I got from BCX says March 17th, but the official start date remains April 7th. If you're not on the email list, might want to contact Ernie. I am finding the weather to be tempting. Car is plugged in to the Battery Tender, just need to get some work done on that cold start valve to see if I can improve it. Otherwise, just clean it up and I'm ready. Will you be going Saturday? I'm not sure how many will be there, but I suspect I'm going. re: Job Thank you. Everything's looking good, just need to see a sufficient number in an offer.
