xcarguy Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 (edited) Well, apparently, before our beloved Stalkers were affectionately renamed Storkers :jester: by another se7en-eer, things were already in place for 'coining' the now greatly favored expression. Perhaps the new christening was the unfolding of a ‘prophesy’ of sorts . . . either that, or . . . our on HOTTTCAR, as well as the boys at Sugar Grove Custom Cars up in Dallas Center, Iowa have been holding out on us and knew well before hand what was to unfold. :toetap05: . . . . . . :deadhorse: Edited October 5, 2014 by xcarguy
locost7018 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Gail, HOTTTCAR, and Lana (most of the body work done by her) have done an incredible job on that Corvette powered Stalker. Try being passed by them when you are doing 50MPH and all you see is a grey blur and hear a tremendous roar!!!!!!!!
xcarguy Posted October 4, 2014 Author Posted October 4, 2014 locost7018, Was the stork in the right seat when you were passed?
locost7018 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 It does look just like Gail. Kinda grey and skinny!!!! TeeHee
HOTTTCAR Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Skinny?? You must be thinking of Lana. I passed skinny 80 lbs. ago. Gale

WestTexasS2K Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Both are good looking cars. I was wanting to attend the Ambush this year so that I could see Gail and Lana's new build. The pics look great.
Paul Hill Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Hey: Enough of the fat jokes. Your giving me a complex 'cause I have to use a large shoehorn to wedge into our Caterham..... Good thing I use LOTS of sunblock, the grease makes it almost possible!

Kitcat Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 That silver bullet is quite a car! I think the amazing thru-shot of the avian shows a Great Blue Heron, BTW.
NVP66S Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I think the amazing thru-shot of the avian shows a Great Blue Heron, BTW. Yeah, but Storker is easier to pronounce than 'Waterfowler' :jester:
