seschm1234
Sold 2007 Caterham CSR 260 Although its killing me to do this I'm putting up my CSR for sale. I have a new 9 month old daughter and it has certainly changed the priorities in my life. Anyway, this is the same car that was sold by Park Place Motors in Bellevue, Wa and is this thread. http://usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=7116&highlight=2007+Caterham+CSR The car has a few more thousand miles on it now 15,000 but just as it was sold to me it has never been to the track (although I dearly wanted to take it to MidOhio). I just installed new tires on the front and they have less than 300 miles on them and the rears have been on for 1 year about about 1500 miles and all of them in great shape. I painted the 7 on the front red which is the only change i've made to the car. I recently purchased 6 point harnesses with the thought of going to the track but I haven't installed them yet. The CSR has the standard dash as the pictures below show and is RHD. This is bad for getting food at a drive though but great for being able to get parts and upgrade to any future engine/trans options they come up with in the UK. It took about 30 minutes to get used to the RHD for me but each person will have different learning curves and different requirements. I have all of the receipts for the original engine/chassis purchase (photo copies as the state of Ohio required the originals) as well as all of the photos and sales literature from the Park Place sale. I've changed the oil every 2000 miles of city/highway driving. I'm asking $42,000 for the car. If you have any questions please let me know. email : seschm1234@yahoo.com, phone ask for Paul at (440)670-5052 Here are a list of some of the features of the car 2.3 liter Cosworth Duratech 0-60 3.1 sec 1315 lbs 260 hp 4 point racing harness installed (including 6 point harnesses not installed) 6 speed transmission Full inboard suspension Full weather equipment (heater, wind shield etc.) AP Racing Brakes Assembly Completed at Caterham Dealer (Jon in Denver) Dry Sump RHD Rotary Throttle Bodies Two tops, ½ top and full Speedo replaced just before I purchased it. It has a Radar and motion alarm system with pager It is titled in the state of Ohio as a 2007 Caterham but it can be changed quite easily to some other designation if that is desired by the purchaser. Croc
Hi Paul Congratulations on the twins! You will feel better once the news has sunk in some more....I hope! You may want to edit your original ad as it says "no longer for sale" at the very top. Somehow this is inconsistent with the price chop so I assume you are really selling the car as you need to fund the cost of having 2 more screaming kids on the way! :ack: This is a real eye opening deal at $42k. Never seen a CSR that cheap before. Pity I am not in the market. Good luck with the sale Cheers mike
seschm1234
Thanks for catching that Mike and for the kind words.. I thought i had fixed it but am in a bit of a daze.. :-) My dream of going to the track just went away but if the kids are healthy it will be exciting. Take care Paul

kayentaut
Paul Where is your car located? Do you have any additional pictures? Jim
Wings Aviation
I don't know this particular car but that's a great deal for the next owner. If you're out there seriously considering a Cat, this is a lot of car for $42k. I've been fortunate enough to have a few nice cars over the years and nothing puts a smile on your face like a fast Caterham, it's just as much fun as it's possible to have on four wheels.
