Looks like there were some ringers there, with Novice raw times faster than the class winners. surprised: Weather differences Maybe?

I'm not sure what 'raw' times means (?), the actual times are under 'sorted by time'.

David Seybold won the overall with his superstalker.

Badazz sound goes to Jeff... I had my back to the course when he started his first run, and after the 4th shift, I turned around to see who the hell was running in 4th gear and where they were going

Then I saw Jeff's car screaming down the course, and it all made sense

My car did OK. I knew going in the springs were way too soft, and she rolled around like a Cadillac, but still got decent times. Alot of tuning needs to be done.

I should add that David S. was within spitting distance of a pure Formula Ford car...

Jeff U.'s car sounded awesome...I'm a big wuss for not running, though I can't imagine being out there in the heat all day...that was the first morning that I was VERY tired the whole weekend. The guys sure did their best to try and guilt me into running :D

Tom, I think I'll take you up on an auto-x this summer. Keep on me and we'll do something when my schedule permits.

Al, I think there will be a good opportunity in your neck of the woods in September. It's not official yet, but I believe the Philly region SCCA has secured the use of a 1,000,000 sq.ft lot in North Jersey. We are planning to build 2 courses, modelled on last year's national championship designs.

Might be worth the drive for those in the Northeast. I'll post it here once it's official.

In the mean time, May 29th at the Boeing helicopter plant in Ridley park, just a few miles south of the Philly airport. And August 19th at in Warminster Pa.

Do it once and you'll be hooked. As a teaser, here is a picture from this past weekend's event at Warminster. Tomhttp://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1181577289_ne div 6.jpg

I'm still recovering from this past weekend's autox event. If we get the million sq ft lot in NJ squared away you'll have to join us. Sept 9th is the proposed date. Tom

Behind the photo is a large building, maybe containing apartments? If so, do you ever get complaints about noise?

Trick of the camera lens. Those buidings are at the far end of the runway. Just specks in person. If you watch my video they look alot further away. We do have a 93db noise limit and don't start before 10 am and don't use the loud speakers for announcements.
