It's been nearly 10 years since 7-7-07?

It's hard to believe that about 10 years ago we started the the club and used Mazda's USA7s forum to organize a national-level meet to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Colin Chapman's four-wheeled motorbike.

With my vintage Seven slowly coming back together and the weather starting to improve here in NJ, I thought about 7-7-7 and the friendships and memories made around the little cars we love.

If we want to try for another meet of that scale, we should really start now...could be a standalone event or maybe piggyback on top of an existing annual event like NJMP thing Mike, Tom, and company have been organizing for years now.

With my daughter's fencing commitments ongoing, I need another side project like I need a hole in my engine block, but thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone is excited about trying to organize another 7-7-7.

Croc and I have previously talked about expanding our trackday weekend to an event that non track oriented owners could join in. But we have our hands full during the trackdays and would need a couple other people to coordinate a Drive, winery tour, Arts center tour or even a trip to Atlantic city for those that would want to do other activities.

You can't beat NJMP for the onsite camping, lodging, and space to hold a car show, picture event while still doing a track weekend and Karting. The Food on site is hard to beat as well. If you are looking to build on the NJMP 7s gathering, just let us know. Tom

The dragon and surrounding area is pretty cool place for Se7ens. I could see going there again. Barber is a pretty cool place because of the track and museum.

Coordinating with a LOG would make things easier than going it alone. Sharing the drives, auto-x and track would cut costs.
