Can anyone give me an idea what a replacement nose cone costs? Thanks

Hi Yeti - because Wemtd's post seems to have disappeared, he was asking what year/model of Birkin as it will make a difference in cost/time/difficulty getting a replacement. He has a nice paper mache nose cone that he used temporarily while he waited a year or two until Birkin supplied new one to replace his broken one. He still worked with Tom Carlin to get one.

Hi Paul (Wemtd) - thanks for the PM on the disappearing post but I could not respond to you as your mailbox is full and I can no longer send messages to you.

It is listed as a 2001 S3. But I saw in MityMikes post that it might really be a 1999.

That's likely the older style nosecone

Oh... And don't throw out your old one for 6 months. Something will always come up and you'll want to refer to your old part

yeti, just a quess , but have you looked at the newer car's (Birkin) nose with the small turn signals built into it? looks nice and would solve one of the problems on the list. bill c.

No I have not looked at it. Not even sure that they are interchangeable. But it certainly is a good idea.
