sdaddy Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 My '03 Birkin's steering wheel is ~300MM outside diameter. I'm thinking of going to a larger size for comfort and to "unblock" the view to the tac, speedometer and oil pressure gauges. What size steering wheel are others running? Any recommended sources for new or used Momo or similar flat-dish wheels at a reasonable cost?
papak Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 I have the original Mountec wheel that came with my Birkin (barely used). I believe it’s about 330mm. I replaced it with a 300mm flat bottomed Momo to facilitate egress. PM me if you are interested.

I just added a striped fringe surrey top from the windshield to the rollbar and I think it matches the steering wheel quite well. Mr. Caterham may be sick to his stomach with the additional flair I have added but I think it's quaint and goes well with my steering wheel.
