Brightonuk
Around 200+ bucks at a alignment shop and a cheap set for less than $400 https://autoplicity.com/11245808-longacre-racing-products-52-72537-25in-scale-ramps-set-of-4?utm_source=google&utm_medium=surfaces&utm_campaign=shopping%20feed&utm_content=free%20google%20shopping%20clicks&gclid=CjwKCAjw2a32BRBXEiwAUcugiO7gVgXZyvC5jCpnZATde-TAbyp5yyY5K8zenn4bRvUY-lGXhElu-hoC2w8QAvD_BwE And as I will only need to use them once (if I can keep the weight off) I thought if a few guys want to split the cost and try this them selves I would buy a set and then pass it on to the next person. ashyers
Too bad you're in Florida, I picked up a set for the Shop last year... Try some of the local race shops. Anyone working with formula cars should have a set. You may be able to rent them for a few days. You may keep an eye out for a used set as some teams and individuals may have budget issues and be selling off surplus equipment. ps. The price you found is for ramps, not scales! Scales are a bit more $$ Edited May 26, 2020 by ashyers
Nick OTeen
Given that LOW price I just checked out that part number on line and it looks like it is not for a set of scales, but for a set of ramps used to roll a car up on to the scales. http://www.longacreracing.com/products.aspx?prodid=8008
Brightonuk
Yep to good to be true I was looking at the photo but the description is for ramps
The Stig
Many years ago I purchased four regular bathroom scales to corner weight a single seater. It actually worked well providing you carefully and gently placed the car and ‘calibrated’ each set by standing on them. I think the scales were about $20 each. fastg
Not quite $20 each but close, I know people that are using these. https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Weigh-Shipping-Stainless-Readability/dp/B0153I0418/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?ie=UTF8&aaxitk=QzOBjSpmu92UCka1d.DN-g&hsa_cr_id=5507623510701&ref_=sbx_be_s_sparkle_asin_0 Graham
