Airframe+ ? And it grips strongly enough so that it doesn't wobble on the lip of the scuttle? Looks like that might be the ticket ...

(de-crufted amazon link here: https://www.amazon.com/Kenu-Airframe-Android-iPhone-Accessories/dp/B00LU5LWQK )

EXACTLY!!  I liked mine in the Seven so much, I bought another, and had a friend fabricate a mount, so I could use it in my Elise!

Care to share the Elise mount setup? I haven’t found a suitable Elise phone mount.

Several years ago, I bought a simple, spring-aluminum strip from somebody on LotusTalk.  (Sorry - I cannot find the post anymore!)

It just fits over the dash - clips over the top edge of the dash, to underneath.  The maker suggested some complicated mount for a phone, which I didn't care for.

A friend just bolted a horizontal bar to the front of it, and the Kenu mount grips that horizonal bar perfectly!  I have not had a problem with it.

Good luck!

ProClip sells a very similar mount for the Elise that works very well. No vibration, seconds to remove and install, and doesn't leave a mark:  https://www.proclipusa.com/products/855407-proclip-center-mount-lotus-elise-2012-20xx-lotus-exige-2012-20xx

That looks good; not exactly like mine, and, like mine, you'd need to fabricate and attach a horizontal piece to attach the Kenu - if that's your choice.

I was all set to buy the Kenu but then I saw this new Pioneer (yes Pioneer, for some reason) magnetic mount that also has a little adjustable stabilizing arm below the clip that might work really well on the dash. I think this might be the one, but I'm hoping for a sale.
