wemtd Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Does anyone have a part # for the 2.0L Duratec pilot bearing? I didn't write down the part # when replaced 7years ago, so of course i'm having a challenge finding the correct part # this go-around replacing my clutch. Just thought I'd ask for a shortcut if someone here knows...
MV8 Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Should be a common, domestic, ford rwd needle pilot bearing for which there are many different part numbers for the same thing from different sources and for different applications. One application to look up is '74-'80 Ford Pinto. You could also cross reference the part number stamped into the outer bearing cage edge (magnifying glass or a hi-res digital camera pic to zoom in on). Here is one source: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=3478
11Budlite Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 The one MV8 posted looks to be the same one on the Burton site: https://www.burtonpower.com/crank-spigot-bearing-21x15mm-fp347.html
wemtd Posted March 17, 2023 Author Posted March 17, 2023 Part identified: (Thanks @Tbox56) it is an FC65354. cross references to 1995 Ford Escort. I was lead astray by smudged part # stamp on the old unit.
