Saudio
I'm trying to get my 2021 620S running and my mechanic says my TPS sensor is dead. Anyone know where I can find one of these? Google has been no help. Caterham UK is closed for a few days while moving. Thanks
JohnCh
Have you checked with Josh at Rocky Mountain or Bruce at Beachman Racing? They both stock parts and one may have this on a shelf.
fastg
Do a search on tps 280dp Found a few links including. https://johnreedracing.com/products/penny-and-giles-tps280dp-position-sensor Not sure were that are located. It's great they give you wiring information on the body, very useful. Graham

Josh doesn't have the part and thinks it is only available with a throttle body from Caterham, and they are out of the throttle bodies. I have a call into Beachman. BTW, throttle body is about $1000 US.

I have e-mailed them to see if there is any way to determine if it will work. Appreciate you looking for me.
JohnCh
Redline sells the Throttle assembly with TPS. Might be worth contacting them to see if they can get the TPS separately or know who sells it. https://redlinecomponents.co.uk/product/throttle-body-tps-620r/

Saudio
I was able to source the correct sensor from Andy Jupp at PGM. Since the sensor is part of their ECU upgrade kit I decided to bite the bullet and buy the whole kit. It's reported that the upgrade makes starting and idling much more reliable, eliminates the rich mix (I can smell gas fumes in the cockpit) and as a bonus adds a fair amount of horsepower. Because if there is one thing a 620 needs, it's more horsepower! LOL. Thanks to those who spent time looking around and replying. I appreciate it very much. JohnCh
Glad to hear you have it sorted. If cold start and initially drivability on the 620 are anything like the factory 420 I've driven, that's money well spent. Please report back and let us know how it works. Thanks, John
MV8
FWIW, a traditional tps should last 100k miles. An inductive tps like this with no wiper to wear out and a rare earth magnet should outlast the car. Otherwise, it looks like an older honda tps but with an integral cable. Traditional and inductive serve the same function.
