Is the a source for wings to fit my 1962 S2? It's going to be a daunting task to get mine smooth enough to satisfy my restoration painter, and before I start sanding, I'd like to see if they can be replaced.  Thanks.

New glass wings would also require sanding if they will be painted. I expect a Caterham dealer could import wings for this.

Clean well with acetone before wet foam block sanding with 220. Cracks should be ground out (dremel works well) then filled with catalyzed gel coat. Rattle can sandable high build primer, wet sand 400, reprime, light mist/fog contrasting primer evenly from about two feet away, wet sand off all the contrasting primer. Your painter should be satisfied with that.

An oscillating 5 inch sander with velcro discs will save a lot of elbow grease and cost about $50 combined.

Looks like about $1000 for front wings to your door, but colored gel coat with no need to paint.

Fill out an inquiry on the item product page and in comments tell him EXACTLY what you have, serial number, etc. Chris knows these 7s very well.

There is a history of 7 body parts from DSK, Dave "The Man" Kaplan.

According to the site anglocanadianlotus7/lotus-seven-parts-suppliers-list/

Pat Prince of Prince Race Car Engineering (815) 625-8116, www.sports.racer.net, who's thing is fiberglass bodies, "took over" some components from DSK.  I don't know if that translates to body panels, but there is a good possibility.
