@Austin David and I looking to do some curvy mountain runs in the upstate SC/Western NC and Tennessee areas.

Tail of the Dragon and surrounding, etc. Good weather for it coming up.

Any interest?

I'm about 4hr of highway from most of that.  Probably head up night before, drive around a lil, then back the day after?  Seems pretty doable for a nice weekend.  I do have weather gear but I very strongly prefer not using it :)

Not all of the Tail of the Dragon is open yet

Same goes for the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Just so you know that crews are still cleaning, patching, trimming back

No matter what you may be reading online, check with the NC DOT sites for your desired routes.

I'll be at Eurofest (behind Hartness Hotel) with the 65 Tiger tomorrow from 8am till 4pm, stop by and  we can hash out the details.

I am definitely interested.  If you don't mind, please let this thread know if/when you come up with a plan.  Depends on kid sports schedules for me.

100 percent will do. Asheville Cars and Coffee early this Saturday (April 19) with 7.2 and my son if anyone is interested. Held at Prescott Auto Reserve. 9-noon.  I’ll be there early and Irish goodbye halfway thru, as usual lol.

Hello all!  I am headed up to Western North Carolina (specifically, Highlands, NC) for a bit of driving 6/6 and 6/7.  No real itinerary other than ending up in Asheville the evening of 6/7.

Anyone want to hit a few roads?

Keep me posted!  I'd love to get up there for a long day.  The timing MIGHT work if the weather is OK and the WAF remains high.

Hey, we’re in Greenville South Carolina and would be able to host a gathering and cookout before the drive. Negotiating with wife and entire household schedule.

Should have intercepted this thread on my own, without a personal prod from @UglyFast.  Thanks and sorry!

I too am near Greenville SC.  Unfortunately Sat June 7 we have a prior commitment.

The climb from Travelers Rest to Brevard via Caeser's Head is also a fun little run, closer to us.  Slow traffic can be a buzz kill.

My problem is that I still don't have a trailer and have a bit of a challenge with more than a ~2 hr range -- left foot goes numb or cramps from hovering over (not touching) the clutch pedal on longer runs.  Dang old age...:classic_angry:

We have a previous commitment as well on the 7th, but have a large enough driveway and rear patio to locally host 20+ 7's and their owners should they be passing through the greater Greenville area.

Would love to do this, but next weekend doesn't work great for me either (definitely would trailer to Greenville from Wilmington to avoid interstate time in my Seven, but my trailer is currently in the Raleigh area with a friend).  Keep me posted when you try another drive.

@SENC I would be willing to have lunch in Wilmington or thereabouts to see your S2.  Maybe not THIS weekend, but it's a day-trip for me there and back, and there's basically only "scenic route" between Charleston and Wilmington.

Would love to get together, just say when.  I've retired, so generally flexible unless we're traveling or have family visiting.

I’m around if anyone wants to cruise anywheres this Saturday Sunday (June 7/8). Got Intel that a new RMC kit was dropped in Asheville this week so soon enough there will be another 7 in the upstate/WNC lineup.

Almost always up for coffee/food. If there weather I can even bring a car with, you know, doors. lol.

I'm game for Sunday!

In general, we are based in the Five Forks SC area -- if anyone is passing through (I-85/I-385) and wish to stop by and stretch your legs let me know!

Always love to meet, hang and motor with other 7 knuckleheads whenever possible.
