I have a 1990 Super Seven, and after discussing with Caterham, sounds like the current S3 windshield is the same as what I currently have. My glass took a major rock hit, and I'm wondering if there is a supplier for the glass and necessary gasket. Otherwise I'll just purchase the complete windshield and surround.

Thanks!

As long as you are not looking for the electrically heated windshield, your average auto glass shop will be able to cut a replacement. Take the surround or the glass in as a template. Usually only takes a couple days. Depending on the New Mexico motor vehicle requirements, you may need "$+" to also get safety glass marking, etched into the windshield.  If you have a state inspection ?, and no glass marking, keep the bill of sales indicating that it is safety glass.

I assume your current glass is a write off. But I was amazed at what the repair guys can accomplish. Granted I had a smaller crack. But the guy did an amazing job and said he could do cracks many inches long.

I also added some window film ppf after this. It likely won’t stop a major event but small rocks and the general sand blasting should be protected against.  You can get a bronco or jeep wrangler precut and just trim it down.

sorry I know this doesn’t help with the replacement part of it.

My Seven windscreen was fitted with a gasket by the previous owner.  It consists of a bicycle inner tube cut to fit!  It works very well, and makes a nice fit for the new glass to prevent unnecessary movement due to vibration.  Make sure you use the original screws (or same screw lengths if replacing the old ones) to put the frame back together, as they shouldn't be too long to prevent them digging into the new glass and causing a new crack.  W
