Looks like he started designing a locost from front to back, and after the front suspension said feck it.

Bob that is pretty sharp. It certianly is much lower and lighter than the Shredder. But it is still powered by a Harley engine. I would have to ditch the harley engine and go with a Ducati or something different.

I have a busa motor and most of the other parts to put one together. I want to start on it when the 7 is sorted out.

In recumbent bicycles, they're known as "tadpoles."

6 liters vs 1.3 liters. What size rear tires and type of rear tires are you going to use?

Bob, the Boss is using a P225/70R15. Definitely not enough tire. Boss is more of a statement than a performance bike. Still, I'd like to see a 100-140 race :)

For now, I'm going to stick with P305/35R18 (yes, two of them  ), since that's the size on my vette. When the time comes to get specific wheels for the Rotus, I'll probably go down to 17", or maybe even 16" rims. I do have enough room on the inside to go to 335's in the back. I will stick with R compound tires. I can't see myself spending 2 grand on slicks that will last one season and can't be used on the road. I will go with Toyo RA1's, or R888s if my sizes come out.

BTW, I saw an article somewhere that said the Boss does the quarter in 10.4 seconds. I might be able to give that a run.

Busa is solidly in the 9's, so you'll have to deal with that :D

I never heard of a Boss Hoss before so I did a search and found this on their website. I just don't know what to say... ;)

I rode a buddy of mines a while back, and one of the projects on my to do list is building a v8 chopper. They are cruisers, not generally racers. Though, one that won rats hole a few years back was pushing 850 hp. I imagine if you could get it stick, it would fly. Few things sould like a lumpy cammed v8.

Oh dear, this string is getting silly!

I've heard of Bike Engined Cars before but Car Engined Bikes ... Really!

It's just wrong, very wrong! :D

:iagree: But Jay Leno has a jet engined powered motorcycle (jetcycle) if you want raw power that is the way to go.

I should think that from a purely technical point of view the electric bike would be faster. ... but equally silly!

and Deadly!

Just had a though. I wounder if one could put one of these engines in a 7.

I guess the center tunnel can be the exhaust. You think you have footwell heat problems now... :)
