11Budlite Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 VERY interesting project! I think the Cosworth BDP is the same motor that was used in the Sugino 7, although I didn't see a picture of it in the guy's ad. Hope a member buys it! Bruce :7drive:
Kitcat Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Looks like a promising project for someone w/the talent to put the parts back together. Should be a beast on the track, he seems to have all the go-fast stuff.
RGTorque Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 looks rather simple to toss back together! guy would have probably gotten more money if he CLEANED it all up at least.
Al N. Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I think seller would be better off parting out the car. Sell the chassis as is for cheap, then try to get the $$$ for the motor...if it is the last one Mickey Thompson touched, it will command a premium. Together as presented, it's sort of a not incredibly compelling project car. Just my opinion, of course.
Boxologist Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 if it goes for 20-24k its a steal if the seller is accurate. i should get Mopho to consider it.
roll a 7 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 At the right price this could be a realy good deal.
twestrup Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 Looks like someone clicked on the "Buy It Now" button and paid the $23,000 asking price.
11Budlite Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 I think there was a problem with shipping/transportation with the original buyer. It was relisted and sold for 24k with Buy-it-Now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140225543782&ssPageName=ADME Bruce :7drive:
