slngsht
Ran across this little video of the skyline drive cruise in '06. coming up on 2 years later... Orange is changing hands, and the green Rotus... well, it's no longer green and no longer a Rotus

gjslutz
I did this drive years ago in an early 911 with way too much over steer, it was then the new wife found out what she was in for. After all of these years and too many fast cars she is still here. She loves the 7 and never has a issue if it at times is a little loose.
slngsht
And I had only a 40+ year dream of some day owning one:). I lusted after my actual car (yes, the very same one I ended up buying in 2005) for many years. The first time I sat in that car was back in 1990. Forgot all about it, and saw it for sale accidently many years later.
southwind25
I was about 7 when dad took us to ocean city VIA skyline drive..in his 2 seater austin healey 3000 MKI...i sat on the tranny hump on a pillow.... not many memories, just some pictures in my head. that was a long time ago...perhaps it might be worth revisiting? slngsht
I usually go there once a year, either spring or fall, either in the vette or rotus, on some kind of cruise. It's not a speed demon road, but it's scenic, relatively close to me, and things for kids to do up there. Last year, I decided to go to snowshoe instead... much better driving roads (not filled with bicycles and 30 MPH speed limits)
