Generational Recognition

Recommended Posts

It is rare that someone recognizes a Caterham let alone a LSiS but yesterday while at work an early 20's something associate notices my screen saver and asks if that's a real Caterham S7. Before I answer him I ask how he knows what a Caterham is, he answers "It's the lightest, best handling car in "Test Drive" so he always chooses it.

Obviously, I need to give this young man a ride.

So i drive the se7en into work again today...bundle up for the ohio anti global warming climate..:skep:

a gal i work with comes up and ask's if thats my little yellow go cart she saw me driving.. ((go cart??))

well yes...i had showed her pictures of the car a couple weeks back, but she says...she didnt realize it was so tiny. She thought it was a big race car like on TV,,not a little go cart. I offer to take her for a ride at lunch and she just laughs.. she comments i must be a very very brave man to drive a car like that..((brave??)).

I drive mine to work almost daily. The parking lot attendant said someone asked if it was driven by an elf since it was so small:). That may be my future vanity plate: elf car or, maybe, elfish7.
