powderbrake Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 Thank you. I am proud to be the dad to 5 great kids. (not really kids, they range from 30 to 45), and I have 10 grand kids ( it will be 11 next month)and 3 great grand kids. :)
gjslutz Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 We had a great Fathers Day fly-in at our airport with a few hundred A/C here. I had 20 parked in my yard alone. We have this every Fathers Day. Many went in the hanger to see the 7. Our local daughter was here along with her 7 year old son. Good kid, he loves airplanes and the 7. Our son in Colorado called and will he here in a few weeks with his family. I hope all fathers had a day as good as mine.
WestTexasS2K Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 My wife and 8 yo son just got back from 3 days of camping down near Austin. We did a canopy tour complete with 6 zip line and cable foot bridges. It was a great time. I was really proud of my 8 yo jumping right in. He wanted to go first and jumped off the platform and zipped about 200' to the next tree about 40' above the ground. He even hooped and hollard on the way. That makes for a good fathers day.
southwind25 Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Ahh, we (mary and our sons) spent F.D. at the Stan Hywet car show and concourse..we were the ONLY lotus vehicle in a field of 400 perfect show cars..and we had as many photos taken as anything there. NOW.....it's time to go get it dirty again!!! YAY!!
