11Budlite Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I saw this mentioned on Pelican last night. Nice deal, in case anyone is interested. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=484305&pn=1 Bruce :7drive:
Ian7 Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Love my Piloti's, but curious how this outlet shop can sell $100 shoes for $30... are they seconds / blems / knockoffs? Anyone dealt with / recommend this distributor? thx
WestTexasS2K Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 I ordered some we will see what they are like if they arrive.
11Budlite Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 I ordered a pair as well. I figure for $30 how can you go wrong. Some of my friends that hunt have used them in the past and have been happy with them. I'll let you know how they look when they arrive. Bruce :7drive:
Ian7 Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 In the end, I decided to risk the 30 bucks as well, but find they don't sell my size 7.5. Rats. (I have ideally sized Lotus 7 feet).
Sean Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I've seen Piloti shoes at Ross for twenty bucks even. Typically in the smallest and/or largest sizes only though. Also, Marshalls had Puma Drift Cats for $39.99 a while back - don't know if they still have them or not, but worth a look if you live near one.
11Budlite Posted November 13, 2008 Author Posted November 13, 2008 Ordered on 11/07, they came today. They certainly seem pretty nice for the money, but I've never really checked out driving shoes before so I don't know how they compare to others. They are just a bit wider than my narrowed Reebok Classics that I've been using, but they seem to fit ok on the pedals in my Birkin. Even came with a leather Piloti key fob. Here's some pics: http://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/19802732_20081113_0001.JPG http://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/363044825_20081113_0002.JPG http://www.usa7s.net/ASPNETFORUM/upload/1873956669_20081113_0003.JPG There is a scuff on the toe of the left shoe but I could have done that when I tried them in the car or I could have rec'd it that way, I'm just not sure.
