Croc Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Not sure if this has been posted before but I stumbled across this website while looking for nice winding roads to go for a drive on this weekend. http://www.motorcycleroads.us/index.html It has some interesting suggestions that I definitely plan to test out...
Boxologist Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 NY sucks. i think there were 2 listed that were OK in the hudson valley. I had a nice route planned out in Pa. a few years ago that Tom G. and I nearly took. Al may know some nice back roads in NJ.
Davemk1 Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I just looked up my area and while they list a few good ones they miss the best the area has to offer. I wonder how they select them? dave
lowflyer Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 The roads are selected by the viewers. You can sign on and submit your suggestions, along with reviews of the roads.
DeanG Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I have had reasonably good luck with http://www.byways.org/ I see an interesting road near this year's LOG http://www.byways.org/explore/byways/2057/travel.html
slngsht Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I think part of the route we took to Snowshoe a couple of years ago was listed on that site.
