MHKflyer52
Yes that is acceleration but it had better as the base price of that car is some where north of $250,000.00 US dollars.... http://www.inventory.gpimports.com/detail-2008-lamborghini-gallardo-superleggera-2845730.html They still have a couple for sale if you have the spare change...(:>)
Mondo
So was that done on a dyno (no wind resistance)? Are a few cars really that fast (85mph in 1 second & 125mph in 3)... seems impossible? I got to tell you, Kevin's supercharged S2K is the quickest thing I've ever been in... with the traction of slicks I thought his front wheels were going to come up;) Edited April 29, 2009 by Mondo
slngsht
not sure, for all I know it could just be a graph - but those numbers are consistent with something like an 8 or 9 second quarter mile car. figure 2.5 to 60 3.5 sec to 130 another 2-3 seconds to 155-160. adds up to 8 or 9 seconds @ 155 or so, which would be typical. scannon
The title says it is V-box data so if true, it was done on the road. Pretty hard to measure G forces on a dyno. It also shows he was going slightly downhill during the run, a drop of about 25' over the distance. No downhill data from a dyno that I am aware of. MoPho
I bet it's fun.... for about 9 seconds. The rest of the time you will spend putting around driving slow trying not to get arrested just like you have to do in the stock Lamborghini
7evin
Well,,,,, Damb.... That's fast !!! I guess we are going to have to start working on a AWD 7... Because you are not pulling that off with a 1500 lb RWD car. At least not for less than $50k Cheers 7evin Edited April 30, 2009 by 7evin
