MHKflyer52
Well this showed up at the Volvo Repair Shop next to my shop today and is it something else. All the shop owner would say is they are to re-program some keys. He did let me look at it and showed me the engine compartment which has an inline five cylinder engine that has twin progressive turbo setup and is all-wheel drive....the rear tires are 18" across the tread and the fronts are right at 12" across the tread.....largest brake rotors and calipers I have ever seen on a car...brake calipers on the front have 16 brake pucks for each wheel and the rears look to be the same. Car has a full interior and seats four in leather race seats...full cage and not one that someone just stuck inside... Here are a couple of photos I snaped with my cell phone for the time being....maybe I can get a couple more later on.

locost7018
Wow is all I can say. Could it be a Rally car? I've seen a couple of C-90's, which are similar, here in KC. Great looking car but not like that one. Russ

MHKflyer52
turbo is bigger than the engine Look close TWIN Turbos progressive boost for a five cylinder engine. No clue as to how much HP but the shop owner said it can most likely spin all four wheels with easy. He would not start it while I was their so I did not push for more details. Heck I am not a Volvo person but if they had one at the dealership I would be looking at buying one I think......but then I would most likely need a driver as I would most likely loose my license after driving it once.....(:>)
WestTexasS2K
We have a friend that we run One Lap with Mark Blaha that is building cars like this for a race team. He has built five of them with twin turbo and big brakes like that. He is getting 800 hp out of them. With the traction control it will laund to 60 in 2.2 seconds. They are having problems keeping the transmission and clutches together, and the engine is only lasting about 2 events before it gives up. They are really pissing off the competiton though because they are now starting to give them weight penalties trying to make it more even. I am sure 7evin will pipe in here if it is the same car. It looks like it from the discussions we have had.
