Great day for a Blat

Great day here in the NorthEast for a Blat. Just got back in from a 2 hour Blat. Weather is Awesome! Temp is around 70F. Partly sunny. Not many cars on the road due to the holiday.

 

Took a while to get some heat into the oil but once it came up to temp:drool:

My ears are still ringing even though I had my earplugs in. That's how I know I've kept the rev's up.

 

Anyone else get out for a Blat this weekend?

I got the Rotus out Sun morning and drove all over N. Atlanta .. looking for the Coffee and Octane car gathering ..

 

I spotted a '57 TR3 running around too!

Yup, Yesterday, Jack & Jen, Dean G and Claudia, and I went on a 8 hour blat

 

8 hours of some awesome traffic free roads. We did have to pass a couple of cars along the way.

It was awesome to see people pull over to give us a good run in the twisties. Except for the stinken corvettes in the way. Sorry Jack & Mazda, both vette owners. Thanks WV drivers.

 

Still recovering, too much sun & vodka. Drove about 800 miles all but about 200 top down.

 

Tough to keep up with those two in the M100. I had the tires howling once which is a bit unnerving given the drop offs in the area. It was nice to cheat and turn on the A/C or heat once and a while.

 

It was great to meet Jack & Jen. Mazda was a great host.

Vodka was by the pit where we were grilling stuff. I was pretty happy

It was Lotus brand No arguments about Caterham, Birkin, Ultralight... being better.
