This beautiful car was the first factory Caterham Zetec in the US.

The car was modified by Caterham in England to fit the Zetec and then shipped to Frank Bolton in Atlanta. Frank was the US distributor at the time. When Mr. Bolton sold the distributorship to Jon Nelson he sold the car to George Alderman of Mid-Atlantic Cateham. george then sold it to me.

I replaced the stock Zetec engine with a New ZX3 motor from Ford Racing and had Mid Atlantic make the initial upgrade of cams and throttle bodies. The final and current tune and cams and all subsequent engine maintenance has be performed by Quicksilver Racengines.

As of May 5th, the car is at QuickSilver Racengines receiving a New Motor. Details to follow.

I ordered my 2000 Cat from Caterham with the Wide track and Clams. To the best of my knowledge I was one of the first to do it. I sent pics to some of the guys on Blatchat to prove that it does fit. Just. Although with the 10 inch slicks, not so much.

Sorry for the delay, been busy. Answers below:

I have always wanted a Seven and an FIA Cobra, I decided a few weeks ago to put the Seven up for sale. Once sold I will buy a FIA Cobra (replica) and have fun with that for a while. Once I have driven that for a while I will likely get a CSR with 260hp.

While at Summit Point last Saturday my engine blew.

So the car is now at Quicksilver Racengines in Frederick, MD where they a building a NEW engine for my car. I am not rebuilding the old one. The new motor will be stronger then my last one which was 220 HP.

It's not like I am in a hurry or anything. I am having a New motor put in so I can continue having fun while I am waiting for a buyer.

The "red" item on the front is a removable splitter which is connected to and supported by canards on the side of the nose. I added it for track use as it provides stability over 120 mph by countering the lift from the clam shells. I painted it and the roll bar red to make the car a little more visible to the ocassional car that gets in front of me.

Yes. I put the wide track and the Watts on the car about five years ago. No problem with ny 15" 205 Toyo 888 street set up or my 13 x 10 x 20 road and autocross slicks.

Michael,

Have you decided which FIA you're going with? ERA, Unique, Kirkham? If you swing by the Vienna Inn on a sunny Saturday you can usually catch an ERA. If not autoxing the Stalker, I'll be there with my Unique.
