Canadian Se7en owners roll call:

Oyagi

Recommended Posts

Name: Paul

Local: Maple Ridge, BC

Car: 04' Birkin

The car arrived last summer, and I've finally squished all of the bugs that came along with it. The 1st track day, last month, was a total blast -more fun and intense than anything I've owned including a Ruff'd 964. I just need to squeez a bit more juice out of the zetec to keep those pesky 997S's from catching up on the long straights...

Future projects:

- More head work + ITB's

- Rims + tires

- Paint

Good to see there's a healthy dose of canuks on the list!

Name: Ron

Location: North Vancouver, BC, Canada

Car: "Book build" Corolla GTS power train

Built: approx. 3 years, registered Jan. 2010

I'd wanted one of these cars for years. Even went to the Caterham factory in 1986 but decided that I could make a frame myself "some day".

Well I finally did get off my butt and I'm loving driving this car. The one unexpected thing is the amount of attention it attracts. I've never gotten waved at and smiled at by so many people. It just adds to the enjoyment.

The timing of this thread is perfect for me. I've being organizing a 7 get together in North Vancouver on Aug. 14th. Anyone with a 7 within driving distance invited. It'll be a group drive through some suitable twisty roads in West Vancouver followed by a BBQ at my place.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll add you to a "BC Sevens" list that I've started and I'll send further details.

Welcome Ron, you are in the right part of the Country for some Twisty bits to hurl your creation around. Know what you mean about people waving and smiling, its just what this car does to people. The moment my rear end hit the driving seat I started smiling and havn't stopped since..:hurray: Had my new soft top fitted today and had to drive back thru Calgary, lots of smiles and waves, lots of vehicles slowing down to have a good look. They are feel good cars aren't they..

Just checked our book and we are planning a trip to the Island the week of the 16th, figure we can take an extra couple of days and leave the Friday and meet with you guys on the Saturday. What time and where? How many so far? This would be our first really long drive in "Her Madge", fingers crossed. Any suggestions from you hardened travellers out there would be appreciated. Been looking for suitable Bags to strap to the back of the car, there are some custom ones made in the UK, wonder if there are any being made in the U.S or here in Canada. Cheers Ron. Steve

I believe you are refering to S.W.M.B.O (she who must be obeyed). I have the same kind of "social director". We are visiting Linda's family on the Island, at least I get to take the 7...:driving::driving:
