yellowss7
Got another nice one in today too. A little over an hour, 35 miles, and lots of smile.:jester: Perfect weather again. Looks like it's going to be a great Fall for Blatting. Happy Labor Day! Tom
Automoda
got a good hour in today. I went exploring the old farm roads I used to love riding my bicycle on (still do but havent had time to do long range adventures on the bicycle lately). Instead of country roads it is now a miniature super-highway with cement sound barriers. The country roads may still be there, but most of the farm land is turning into housing sprawl with brown stucco and weedy, unfinished yards. At least the train track crossings are smoother now. I'm going to have to find another place to blat.
S1Steve
Betsy and I went north today , we went up 611 thru Kintnersville were we spotted a green Caterham. Looks like the same one that was on Bruce's Millford run in the spring. It was parked next to a very nice MGTD. Up to 212, nice road !! slomove
.... I'm going to have to find another place to blat. We did Emigration Canyon last year. That was one of the nicest blatting roads I have been on with spectacular scenery. Not much traffic early morning.

Not much traffic early morning. Gert, Are you talking about Emigration Canyon (Utah 65) out of Salt Lake City? I agree with you, especially if you then take East canyon (Utah 66) over to Morgan. Arya Ebrahimi
After a nearly roasted hub and a blow-out on the trailer towing Frankn7 up to Philly today, I got to go for a nice 2 hour bla(s)t over to my friend's shop in South Jersey. slomove
O.K. I can do that. But I am not the first to install that widetrack kit on a Birkin. Anyway a good idea to take a few pictures before it goes back together.
twnpipe
Yesterday took my visiting sister out for the first time, behaved myself for the first 3 miles than opened it up. She screamed and laughed all the way thru 3rd gear. Wants another ride before she heads back to Vancouver Canada. There was a mix up in my MRI time today and had to take the car for a ride up the twisties for an hour. Darn And then on the drive home got to get on my favorite on ramp, back end was coming around nicely. Then stopped for a business meeting and the heavy equipment operator asked to hear it open up, didn't have a choice, right. Oh a nice day! eVox
drove my car to work sans muffler. It wasn't too loud (mmm turbo), but the exhaust fumes suck. I wished I lived out of the city...all we have here is on/off ramps [evilgrin]
