Who Blatted today?

got a good hour in today. I went exploring the old farm roads I used to love riding my bicycle on (still do but havent had time to do long range adventures on the bicycle lately). Instead of country roads it is now a miniature super-highway with cement sound barriers. The country roads may still be there, but most of the farm land is turning into housing sprawl with brown stucco and weedy, unfinished yards. At least the train track crossings are smoother now. I'm going to have to find another place to blat.

Betsy and I went north today , we went up 611 thru Kintnersville were we spotted a green Caterham. Looks like the same one that was on Bruce's Millford run in the spring. It was parked next to a very nice MGTD. Up to 212, nice road !!

We did Emigration Canyon last year. That was one of the nicest blatting roads I have been on with spectacular scenery. Not much traffic early morning.

Gert,

Are you talking about Emigration Canyon (Utah 65) out of Salt Lake City? I agree with you, especially if you then take East canyon (Utah 66) over to Morgan.

Now the cars finished I have been blating around Christchurch looking at the quake damage and around the Port Hills and then on to work for my evening shift and then blating home :)

Long weekend coming up for me as my shift finished Thusday night so im going to put some extended miles on the car over the 3 day weekend if the weather is kind to us.

Slowmove how about some pics of your upgrades your doing in the Tech section. Im interested in the wide-track suspension upgrade and would like to know how you are going about it.

Cheers Stephen

Yesterday took my visiting sister out for the first time, behaved myself for the first 3 miles than opened it up. She screamed and laughed all the way thru 3rd gear. Wants another ride before she heads back to Vancouver Canada.

There was a mix up in my MRI time today and had to take the car for a ride up the twisties for an hour. Darn

And then on the drive home got to get on my favorite on ramp, back end was coming around nicely. Then stopped for a business meeting and the heavy equipment operator asked to hear it open up, didn't have a choice, right. Oh a nice day!
