BruceBowker
I know it is really early but please keep it in your mind for the 3rd NJ/PA drive of Sevens starting in Milford, NJ or starting a Tinicum Park, PA. We had - was it 9?- Sevens last year. Any idea for routes would be nice. I had thought about getting to Fleminton NJ for a lunch at Chee Burger Chee Burger. Neat spot with a 1950's style atmosphere and great food. Even thought perhaps requesting blocking off a bunch of parking spots for us. yellowss7
Bruce, not to hijack your thread, but in the same vein of early notice, I just saw that a group that I ran with last year has posted some dates in June and September for Track Days at New Jersey Motorsports Park. If we could get enough cars we might be able to get our own run group. Maybe it could be a nice destination for the group. Tom
blubarisax
I second the idea of a NJMP Track Day for 7s. Croc should (with any luck) have his new CSR by then and we can all give a chance to show us what its got!
S1Steve
Tom, Thats a great idea . Not sure about getting the S1 thru tech. Having our own run group would be a smart, fun, safe, afternoon. I hope Jon can make it !!!! LOL And I want to see the Thunder from down Under in action. aka Croc !!!!!

Looking at the pics we had 10 at the start dropping back to 7 at the end for lunch. I suggest we aim for the weekend of June 4 and 5, the week after Memorial Day but before the Father's Day weekend and well before the track day where we could see some damage and/or non-running Sevens from the more aggressive/assertive drivers amongst us. Other dates (tentative) to keep in mind for the CT/NYC/NJ/PA group are: 1) April 24 - LEO Fish and Chip Run from Milford NJ 2) August 21 - LEO Catskill Run 3) Nov 13 - Bill Thomas Roadsters/LEO Run from Frenchtown NJ

Croc
I've decided to send the 7 to Q. Totally James Bondify the car .:driving: Can I suggest some Bond modifications? How about: 1) Installing a xflow so you can lay down an oil leak for those baddies pursuing you? 2) Adding those pop out wheel hub spinning cutting blades from the Aston? Should be helpful when you go flying through hedges 3) Ejector seat - gets rid of annoying passengers like me! 4) I do like the idea of installing guns in the headlights - that would make a minivan keep out of the fastlane. Sorry Bruce - I have turned your serious post into a mockery :-D

BruceBowker
Best dates for me would be either June 11, 18 or 19. Does this work for anyone? This would be for a touring drive/lunch. Bruce
Boxologist
I can't give a commitment on those dates for another month or 2. I appreciate everyone's eagerness to setup this years events, but I think cabin fever is setting in. even where the weather is warm:)
Croc
While it does not worry me, June 19 is Fathers Day and that will have a big impact on limiting the availability of people. I suggest the 18th will suffer the same problem as some people may end up travelling for family events. The weekend of June 11/12 seems better for this reason. BruceBowker
June 12 is an all English car show at Hellertown Pa. 11th would be the best day.
crewst
I'd love to know if this is definitely happening, and the details. My Superformance is in need of a new headlight so I can be legal and get inspected (son broke it when momma left him in the garage for a few minutes). If I can get the headlight replaced (just needs glass... don't know where to go yet), I'd love to be able to join you. Perhaps if nothing else, my boys (maybe wife too) and I could come along without the car, just to enjoy the other 7s. Superformance S1 #

Superformance S1 #14 Yep it is happening - refer to: http://usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=6464 It has all the details, times etc. I did a mail around but you were not on my list of "locals". Sorry, I will correct that for the future. Try a PM to s1Steve who also has an S1 and looks to be 20 mins drive from you. He may know the place for sourcing S1 parts. What diameter are the bowls/glass? Edited May 23, 2011 by Croc
crewst
I just joined, so that's why you didn't have me on your list :-) I'll have to measure and post the sizes and pictures when I get the chance. UPDATE: 6" dia. The numbers on the glass don't appear to be particularly useful. There's a Harley place in Langhorne, about 15 min from me, so I figure worst case, I take the pieces that I have removed to them and see if they can do glass replacement. Never been there, so I have no idea if they'd be able to help. Should at least be able to point me somewhere though.
