yellowss7 Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 Thanks Skip. Will give it another try. Tom
S1Steve Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 We thought about the Angle grinder, someone did offer to flatten out the support that spans the cowl with a hammer. ( While it was on the Car). Lots of fun with alittle work thown in. Plus a bit of trash talking, most of it your way Mike. Of course I came to your defense !!!!!
Kitcat Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 Any photos of the "channel"? I don't recall this issue with the installation of my Brooklands in place of the Caterham windshield.
Croc Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 I think Tom is referring to this: http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=3473 or this: http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=303 Then again he is from Philly so he could be referring to this: http://www.chanel.com/ :jester:
yellowss7 Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 Croc you are spot on. The first link is the piece that needed to come out. Yesterday however I didnt' see it in there so I was trying to insert the one in the second link while the first one was still in there. :dupe::smash: When I went out to the garage, it took me all of 10 minutes to do both sides. And we weren't even drinking yesterday! Just ordered the hopefully correct bolts and acorn nuts to complete the Brooklands install. Need to order the Center mirror now too. Pegasus is out of stock on the flat glass one that I want. I'll have to source it elsewhere. Also fitted the third brake light pigtail and mounted the new Led Center brake light on the roll bar Looks good, need to tidy up the wiring. Thanks for the help Skip. Tom
