MHKflyer52 Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 The owner of the building just wanted another sign to match the one they already have but did not expect a wing tip faring from an A380.....:smilielol5:... I bet that flight crew is looking for a new job now and the airport manager is most likely also looking for one also I would bet.
Croc Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Luckily for the flight crew they were not onboard at the time. It occurred at the Paris Air Show and the plane was being towed by a round tug team of two - one to drive and one to check that it was not going to hit anything.... This cancelled the flight demonstrations of this plane at the Paris Air Show.

That's why we have 2 wing walkers when we tow our planes around.
