Ian7
Got a set with a car I just bought, have no use for them. Look to be in VGood shape, glass not scratched or cracked that I can see. What are they worth to someone? thanks
twobone
http://www.blatchat.com/searchsp.asp Do a search on the for sale section using "brooklands" as the key word I think there is a pretty healthy demand in the UK where they actually allow them. I suspect if you post them there or on ebay uk, you would get a good price
Ian7
thx; hard to imagine someone willing to pay the shipping that far though... :-) photo now available:

slngsht
What year/model Cat is this for? Wonder if it'll fit my 85 chassis. I have no idea what a fair price is for that... If you find it and I can afford it, I'll be interested. At the moment tracking down all the little R1 parts is kicking my ass.
Ian7
I assume it came off the '95 I just bought, AFAIK all the non-wide chassis are the same. As the unit sits on the bench, the span between the front mount holes is 36.5", and between the rears 38". Has a little give, but not much. Kitcat
Two years ago the stanchion cost me $460 and the areo-screens were $150 each. Bought from Sevens and Elans. Don't ask what the semi-functional mirrors cost, it's too ridiculous to admit on a public forum! I think Southwind7 made an identical unit for $12.00:). Sabbot
For current new cost in UK see; http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorsport/Caterham_7_Parts/Bodywork_Exterior/Caterham_Aeroscreen_Assembly_On_Stanchion/1990/0/117741 They quote in all sorts of currencies and costs for shipping small stuff is not to bad but don't know about bulk items, also it has taken up to 3 months for a parcel from the UK to arrive in NJ. Ian7
To the (at least) three guys sending me questions and expressing interest, let me clarify these screens are used and I have no idea how old they are. Glass seems perfect, alloy frame has typical 'coarseness' that old alloy castings get, but mechanisms all work. The seal under the stantion is worn but certainly usable. Based on info rec'd, I'm thinking 300 bucks plus shipping, which I'll bet is north of a hundred. Edited July 9, 2011 by Ian7
Ian7
by the way, my potential buyers are in the northeast, so anyone in Florida driving past me heading up 95 might make some gas money picking this up and carrying it for a fellow member....
