yellowss7
I miss you guys!:driving::seeya: I just got home from another trackday at NJMP on Thunderbolt. It was not the same without you guys. All those big mean Z06's, Porsche GT3 racecars, and GTR's none of which liked to let me pass. Where is Kitcat when I need him to make some room by passing on the turns to soften them up. :smilielol5: I was serioulsy whooped by a 19 year old in a slick shod Z06. I couldn't lose him in the octopus. That never happened before. He stayed right with me and then blew by me on the front straight. I couldn't catch him. Nice kid, good driver. Serioulsy, It was very anticlimatic being the only Caterham there. I'm whooped as it was a hot one today. I absolutly promise to have the Video from our group session up tomorrow. I have about 40 minutes that I've pieced together. I'll probably put them up as two or three clips depending on what YOUTUBE lets me do. With some defence of you, he was on slicks which makes all the difference and with none of us out there to kick you along a little, you could have backed off the pace? I always wondered when I would use this smilie: :grouphug: It was a great time and we will do it again one day - once you have finished assing about with that video production....come on!!!! :seeya:
Kitcat
You just needed the "blue enema" to urge you on:). Or, Croc's car! I agree, being the only se7en isn't as much fun. And all those questions from other drivers.... Still, not much can top a day at the track. And, there is always someone faster.
Croc
You just needed the "blue enema" to urge you on:). Or, Croc's car! :ack: I am not sure how to react here? My first thought of "blue enema" was you thinking Tom needed Viagra. My second thought was that I have just been called an enema!
Kitcat
I was once called the "blue enema" by another driver at a track day who seemed to feel it was their right not to give me a point by. So I mercilessly rode their bumper. Around and around. They complained afterwards that they thot I was going to drive right up their exhaust pipe:). I had mentioned this story to Tom and cousin John at NJMP, so figured he'd get the post. I know, I know, the mature thing for me to do wld have been to pit in, leave some space, and head back out. But, sadly, I am not always the calmest, most rationale person when on the track. Mike M.
DaveD
You should have pitted and pulled back out just in front of them. Let them catch up and then drove away from them. :driving:
