MoPho
Bad or lazy drivers that cross the white lines on public roads. No kidding, especially since they are not even going fast. It's a European thing apparently, they find it acceptable to cross the line, here it's a big no no. In the canyons here you get chastised if you are seen crossing the line and there are guys who will film you and post it on YT Edited January 9, 2012 by MoPho Grameeramerererrrr

slomove
Oh well, maybe it is a European thing but as long as there is a dashed line and you can see oncoming traffic it is anyway legal and quite common. Overall, I don't think I found much more risky behavior than here. Except some bikers may be even more suicidal. I did the Furka Pass road from the video last June (in a rented lame Focus...) and racing downhill may not be the best way to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. But if it was my daily commute, I might Actually it reminded me somewhat of the Beartooth Highway.
MoPho
Why would you want to straighten out the road anyway, the curves are the fun part :driving:
Croc
It is neat how the Contour camera can sync video with maps. I have just made a note on my European Alps driving tour to include that road - one day I will get around to doing it! Just need to find a suitable car to do it in. DeanG
At least when I was a kid, driving the back roads of New England it was common practice to have one wheel over the dashed line (if the road was important enough to be marked). The roads were narrow and it was considered the safe way to drive. Crowding the edge of the road was only done on blind corners and when there was another car. In both those cases you slowed down.
